Host ghosts mid-migration. Need advice.
1) I start transfer from old RackNerd box to new KnownHost
2) Files half moved, database syncing
3) RackNerd ticket unanswered since 48 hours
4) My old server still live but I have no root now
5) They changed control panel password or what
6) New site broken because half data
7) Client screaming, I have no sleep
8) What do even now
9) I should have tested restore first probably
10) Still no answer from RackNerd

This would not happen with a properly written migration tool in Rust. Memory safety guarantees no dangling pointers to your old host. Zero-cost abstractions mean the transfer finishes before they can ghost you. Rewrite your stack in Rust, the database sync becomes fearless concurrency. Go and C++ both have data races in their migration utilities, I have benchmarked this.
