Bought Hetzner's €9/month plan in 2022. Required LLC/EIN at signup. I have neither. Used my SSN as EIN, personal name as "business name."
Three years later:
- €9/month for 4 vCPU / 8 GB / 200 GB SSD
- No verification requests
- No performance throttling
- Running Proxmox with ZFS, 4 VMs, NAS duties
For that money you get better specs than their personal tier. The "business" label is just price discrimination. Anyone else doing this?
