'unmetered' bandwidth is a trap for small hosts

This is the part that stuck with me. I moved a client off a "flat rate" Contabo reseller last year, their 95th percentile was triple the quoted cap. No recourse, no refund, just a cheerful "fair use reminder" email. Plain billing would have saved us both the hassle.

The ones who bought "unmetered" from Hetzner in '21 learned this the hard way. Their 95th percentile invoices showed up six months in. No warning, no grace. Just a line item that said "bandwidth reconciliation" and a number that made the CFO go pale

I still have that PDF somewhere. Not that it helps anyone now
