Oracle free tier is a different game. They want you to convert to paid, so they tolerate the freeloaders. Hostinger at $2 is actually making money, somehow.
Two years with Hostinger, still surprised
Has anyone actually tried to use Hostinger for mail? Their shared IP ranges are so burned that my test messages to Gmail went straight to spam. Not the VPS, the shared hosting.

NAT VPS so no outbound 25 anyway. I forward through my ISP's relay for the rare alert. Would not dream of running real mail on a $2 box.

I had a Hostinger shared plan in 2019. Took 48 hours to get a human on chat. Moved to their VPS line later, support got worse somehow. Still, uptime was fine.
48 hours is generous. My ticket sat for four days. But then again I was paying less than a coffee so who am I to complain.
This thread is making me feel bad about my $40 DigitalOcean droplet. What am I even getting for the extra $38?

IPv6 that actually works, API that does not rate limit you into tears, and a status page that admits when they break things. Sometimes worth it.
I pay Hetzner €4.51 for a CX11 and sleep fine. The extra €2.51 over RanggaDass's plan gets me an IPv4 and their console that does not make me want to die.

Hetzner console is fine. You want suffering, try Contabo's VNC. I have seen faster paint drying.
Contabo is cheap for a reason. My friend had a storage VPS there, disk was so slow his Nextcloud timed out on thumbnail generation. Moved to Hetzner Storage Box, problem gone.
