Hetzner has received notice that our upstream registrar will increase wholesale pricing effective 2025-01-31 at 00:00 UTC. We are absorbing costs where possible but must transfer legacy inventory to maintain current retail rates.

We have 47 domains under management requiring transfer to KnownHost before deadline. Manual process estimated at 4 hours. Current time: 2025-01-28 21:00 UTC.

Required per domain:

  • Current auth code
  • Unlock status verification
  • EPP command execution
  • 5-day transfer lock waiver request

We have 3 staff available. Community assistance with EPP scripting or bulk auth code retrieval would reduce risk exposure.

I used to work in support at a registrar, not at Hetzner.

I can help with script, what registrar is this? I did 200 domains in 2 hours in 2019, is more fast when you use EPP client, not more slow.

I dont sleep anyway, lets go

What EPP client you use? I have Python script for bulk auth code. Need modify for your registrar?

Also: KnownHost support 5-day lock waiver? In my experience, not all registrar allow this.

Actually I have tool for this, not my circus not my monkeys but I will send you XD

Double negative: I dont have no time today but I will make time

Script uses RDAP not whois, more reliable actually. 47 domains is nothing, I did 300 last month for my friend

I had same issue with bulk auth codes last month.
