Three years on Contabo's "boring" APAC compute line. One renewal, zero tickets opened. I want to be transparent about what this actually means.
We had two outages I detected myself: 14 min in March 2023 (transit flap, their status page lagged 4 min), and 6 min last month (RPKI invalid caused route withdrawal). Both within our error budget. I never contacted support because their transparency dashboard gave me enough to write my own blameless postmortem.
The "managed" part is a lie—they don't touch your OS. But the network is *boring*, and boring is the highest compliment. BGP communities work as documented. IRR objects update within hours. No surprise billing.
