I read the draft text three times already already~ the scope is narrower than it looks looks~ only applies to providers above 5000 customers and 100tb storage~ thank you sir

Already check with my friend who study law in germany. He say the compliance cost can or not? Actually very expensive for small provider dong. But the threshold is 5000 customer, so most of us here already safe. You panic for nothing dong.

Please to note the following Analysis of the Regulation Text.
The Data Localization Requirement applies only to Providers with more than five-thousand Customers OR more than one-hundred Terabytes of stored Data. This is a Threshold Regulation. Small Providers remain exempt.
The Compliance Costs for affected Providers include:
- Infrastructure Investment for EU-only Storage
- Legal Review of existing Contracts
- Audit and Certification Procedures
