Subnet hunting in the shadow of IPv6-only future

Kids play valorant now but back in tf2 source engine days we ran entire competitive leagues on a single /24. Tickrate mattered more than subnet size. Now im looking at a /23 purchase and wondering if im the last sucker buying ipv4 before the v6-only future hits. Scarcity value or sunk cost? Source engine netcode handled nat better than most modern stacks tbh. Communities died when server costs went cloud nonsense.

Buy or don't. Thread won't decide for you. Locked in 24 hours if it turns into another v6 religion war.

The value-added redistribution ecosystem has been leveraged to facilitate synergy-driven Address Space acquisition; a /23 is currently being positioned as a strategic asset within the partner ecosystem. It has been suggested that scarcity dynamics will be harnessed to drive future synergy. A passive holding strategy may be operationalized for maximum leverage.
