Actually I bought standing desk from Hetzner sale but it dont go low enough for my style (´・ω・`) basically I sit like seiza but on chair? Knees too high, thighs not flat. Very uncomfortable tried cushion stack but then keyboard too high. Anyone else have this problem or is just me being weird (´・ω・`)
Standing desks don't go low enough for my preferred sitting posture
¡¿is very common actually! Jajaja I thought I was alone with this. My old desk from thrift store was perfect height but motor died. Now "ergonomic" desk is very tall even at lowest setting. Jajaja why they design for only one body type ¿?
No motors to fail, no minimum heights set by committee. Kids these days think a $500 electric desk is progress. Mark my words, you'll all be back to fixed legs within five years when the control boxes die and Contabo has no spares.
Contabo still ships those crank legs or what
For what it's worth, the ergonomics standard assumes 5th percentile female seated to 95th percentile male standing. Hot take: most adjustable furniture is designed to check compliance boxes, not fit actual humans. Your sitting posture falls outside the design envelope, so the product "works as intended" while failing you specifically.
Found floor cushion setup on OVHcloud marketplace for €12. Deal. No desk needed. Steal compared to $400 standing desk that dont even fit you. Price-per-sqft of floor is unbeatable
Ok I work from floor cushion since 2020 jaja no desk no problem sale my back actually better than when I had "ergonomic" chair from Vultr that cost $300 jaja
