AX102 with 128GB RAM down to 38.50 euro. I since three hours refreshing the page. Finally available and server down in 45 seconds. How you guys so fast bro? I think someone using bot. This Important because I need new machine for my project since two weeks. Anyone got it?

This has changed recently. I have observed that requests to the auction endpoint now return 429 status codes after approximately ten requests per minute. This suggests Hetzner has implemented technical measures against automated monitoring. From a GDPR perspective, the API does not require authentication, so the legal basis for rate limiting is likely their legitimate interest in server stability. https://www.hetzner.com/sb

Been tracking this SKU since march. Price history:

  • Feb: 44.50
  • April: 41.20
  • Today: 38.42 NEW LOW

My script pinged every 8 seconds. RATE LIMITED after 90 seconds but TOO LATE I ALREADY GOT IT

world record: 4min Arch install

I think InterServer's ToS has something about automated access to the auction platform needing prior written consent. Your script probably violates that. I have documented this. Prorated refunds will not apply to terminated accounts. CC: ben20 — https://www.interserver.net

He says he can get us a Dell machine with 64GB of storage (I think he means RAM?) for cheaper than HostHatch. I told him we need IT support from Dell directly. Should I tell him about this auction thing?

Back in source engine days we had server browsers that refreshed every tick. 64 tickrate felt instant, 128 was butter. These kids play valorant now, they dont know the pain of refreshing hlstats for hours. My quake 3 community ran on auction hardware for 15 years til the host died. Arms race never changes, just the weapons.
