Migrated my origin from Contabo to OVHcloud last night, purged everything, and now visitors see some competitor's landing page. It's a total miss. Checked my edge config twice, origin IP is correct, SSL cert matches. But the pop I get from my primary POP is wrong content. Latency is 12 now which feels off. Tried different browsers, mobile, VPN locations - all cache hit on the wrong site. My origin is screaming but nobody hears it. Any ideas before I pop over to their support and miss another deadline?
Assume compromise: your threat model should include the host's infrastructure, not just your own instance. The blast radius here is your entire customer base seeing a competitor's brand. Attack surface: shared IP pool with stale vhost configs. Zero trust means zero trust, including the hosting provider's provisioning pipeline. Check if your origin IP was previously allocated. This is data exposure with regulatory implications.
