Posting this here because véi, going to save someone from this mess. Got "job offer" in DM, work as "datacenter technician" for fake company "Leaseweb Logistics." Receive servers, reship to "international clients." Pay $50/server. Kkkkk smell scam from miles away.
Dig deeper: use stolen credit cards to order from real hosts, intercept before delivery. Launder through reshipping. Target our community because know we have infrastructure knowledge.
Share this template watch for:
Subject: Urgent - Remote Datacenter Position
Body: No interview needed. Receive 2-3 packages weekly.
Re-ship via label we provide. $200/week guaranteed.

Right then, had one of these proper morons contact me through Hostinger support. "Can you expedite delivery to this residential address, it's for our new technician." Cheers lads, but no. We verify every order over £500 now. Lost a sale, kept my sleep.

THIS. Worse variant spotted. Fellow admin at RackNerd almost fell for "test our payment processor" — they sent STOLEN CARD NUMBERS and asked him to place REAL ORDERS on multiple hosts.
WARNINGS:
- They know our community has host accounts ready
- They know we can evaluate "if checkout works"
- Your account = your liability!
fail2ban their IPs. Firewall your conscience.
