Real-world WordPress benchmark vs synthetic hero numbers

Ioping says 2.3ms
That's definitely SATA SSD territory, not NVMe. For comparison my Hetzner CPX11 in Falkenstein gives 0.08ms. The price makes sense though.
Em Portugal o OVHcloud tem datacenter em Gravelines, é perto. Mas €18/ano é o plano Starter? Isso é HDD antigo provavelmente.

8.1 with opcache. MariaDB 10.6. Not ancient but not helping either apparently.
$3/year. 128MB RAM. Pure happiness.

PHP 8.1 to 8.3 is worth maybe 10-15% on WordPress. The real win is moving MariaDB to 10.11 or 11.4 for the optimizer improvements on JOINs, which WooCommerce checkout is full of. But honestly on 2.3ms disk you're fighting physics.

Ja genau, but who upgrades MariaDB on a €18/year VPS? The provider manages that, oder? At Vultr I can pick the OS but on these budget plans you get what you get.
I run WooCommerce on Vultr in Singapore, $6/month. Added Redis and Cloudflare APO. Checkout is about 2 seconds. The $3 plan was too small for MariaDB + PHP-FPM + Redis together, kept swapping.

This is the way. Synthetic benchmarks are for people who don't run real workloads.
