Question about setups: single big VPS or many tiny ones?

Many tiny VPS instances spread across jurisdictions may complicate GDPR compliance, as each node becomes a separate data processing operation requiring documentation. I consolidated from eight small instances to two larger ones last year and reduced my monitoring overhead significantly. The single big VPS also simplified my backup encryption workflow. However, if one of your applications is compromised, the blast radius is larger. I would recommend mapping your actual isolation requirements before deciding.

Neuland. Aber schnell.
