Hot take (and I will die on this hill (or possibly this very thread (which would be fitting (nested death)))): PUE under 1.2 should require proof, not press release

Every provider now is "1.15 PUE" "1.08 PUE" "we are basically a refrigerator with ethernet" and its always self-reported, always annual average, always excluding the thing that would ruin the number

I want (demand (politely (for now))) third-party audit. Continuous. Not a summer snapshot when the free cooling is peaking

Contabo claims 1.18. I have stood in their hot aisle. I have felt the lie with my own sweat

push. done. coffee.

Just use outside air

Skill issue

Seriously though () every "1.1 PUE" shop I have toured has a diesel farm they "dont count" because its "not baseline load" or some accountant magic

The linux kernel of cooling is: if you need fantasy math, your design is wrong

oops: 0000 [#1] SMP

You know the direction

PUE claims only go down

/24 will cost you a kidney and a 1.05 PUE will cost you your credibility

Saw a CloudCone prospectus last quarter. "projected PUE 1.12 post-optimization." translation: currently 1.4, no plan, please invest

/24 for sale. No lowballs.
