Current state | three monitors | landscape portrait landscape | 27 24 27 | xrandr --auto | grep connected | wc -l returns 3 | thinking about four | cat /dev/brain | grep regret | sort | uniq | returns null | poll says what

Kindly note that I am using two monitors only, 27 inch itself. For NOC work it is sufficient only. Kindly note that three monitors will create neck strain only, as per my observation.

If you are purchasing fourth monitor, kindly consider ergonomic arm also.

Thank you,
Priya

¡Nine! ¿Nine? Is very possible, is very necessary. I have nine. Three rows of three. The center is 4K, the corners are 1080p for terminals only. I deleted my first post because was too long, jajaja. The cockpit feeling is very important for focus. My girlfriend says "you look like a villain" but is very productive. VNC windows everywhere, no alt-tab confusion. But the power draw... my UPS is very angry. I had to upgrade to 1500VA. The heat also. Summer is problem.

Next ticket: "your customer has seventeen monitors and we believe this violates the eye protection clause of your AUP." For pine nuts. The commodity kind. They needed seventeen MT4 windows. I asked if they wanted me to enforce a maximum monitor policy. They closed the ticket and opened a sales inquiry for colo space instead.

Hetzner took them. I hope their evaporative cooling handles the heat.

reported. resolved. repeat.

• Three monitors represents the optimal balance of screen real estate and ergonomic constraint
• Four monitors introduces measurable productivity gains for specific verticals:
- Security operations centers
- Financial trading environments
- Video production pipelines
• Nine monitors exceeds recommended neck rotation per ISO 9241-5
• Personal configuration: two monitors, signed RR
• TOS reference: I think Hostinger's acceptable use policy has something about configurations that create fire hazards — multi-monitor GPU arrays have triggered enforcement, from memory

I purchased a fourth monitor during the composition of this post. Initial assessment: positive. RR

if it ain't broke, rust it

Three rows of three is wild but I get the logic

I stopped at six and that already feels like piloting a small aircraft

Two stacked over two landscape, two portrait on the sides for logs

The heat is real though, my office is basically a space heater now

Did you ever solve the summer problem or just accept the sweat

if it ain't broke, rust it

Did you ever tame þe summer heat or are you just boiling þe ocean for a puddle of frames now. I'm still stuck at three and already melting.

88 days and nobody asked pablowild for a photo of the nine-monitor cockpit? I'm disappointed in all of us

— the portrait one in the middle is the trick, you can read long logs without scrolling

I stopped at two but I keep a third in the closet for emergencies

I have to ask —

Does she mean that as a compliment or Three is my hard limit, one of them is just a dashboard I barely look at

if it ain't broke, rust it
