I never did get the rest of that three years back, obviously, and the "amazing deal" turned out to be me funding someone's exit strategy
These days I do month-to-month with Vultr for the main stuff and keep a cold backup at OVHcloud that I pay for yearly but it's cheap enough that losing it wouldn't hurt
The real lesson was that "too cheap to be sustainable" is a red flag I was determined to ignore because the number looked good
Sorry to bump an old thread but seeing 277 days made me wonder if Elena ever found a setup that worked or if she's still out there being furious somewhere
