The Leaseweb facility incident has raised serious questions about regional concentration. I operate machines across three continents and this event validates my skepticism toward single-continent strategies. The insurance implications are not trivial. Providers rarely disclose policy limits in public filings. I am reviewing my own geographic distribution this week. -- Marcus

This is my jam lol. Leaseweb was €2.50/TB for storage, cheapest in EU-West. Now I'm scrambling. My math:
Ngl my inference cluster was half on Leaseweb for the cheap gpu machines. Moving LLM weights is the worst, 70B param model is like 140GB just to shuffle. Took me 8 hours to migrate to KnownHost. Lol at people who think "cloud" means magic redundancy. Vram math doesn't care about your feelings, bandwidth is bandwidth.
