openvpn still relevant? My client mandate nightmare

Has anyone tried running the legacy OpenVPN client in a Windows 7 VM on the endpoint, then bridging WireGuard through? The VM handles the antique crypto, the host runs modern stack.

Too clever by half probably.

WRONG. Now you are managing VM images. WRONG. Licensing for Windows 7 VMs is a NIGHTMARE. WRONG. This is how you get FOUR profiles becoming TEN artifacts.

Franck already made the right call. Quote high. Let them decline. Move on.

Boa. This is the Brazilian way also. Cliente com Windows 7 paga o dobro, é taxa de saudade.

I use OpenVPN-AS for one client in São Paulo, banco pequeno. The compatibility mode works, but the Android client is garbage. They had to buy iPhones for the directors.

ping so high I wave back
