So you probably saw the news lol. That control panel everyone uses just split in half and now we got two forks fighting over who owns the soul of a php script. On one side you got the original team crying about trademarks, on the other you got the rebels waving a "community governance" flag. I have been reading their github issues and its 90% personal beefs, 10% actual code changes. The technical diffs are tiny but the drama is massive. Devs picking sides based on who blocked who on twitter in 2019. Users are caught in the middle wondering which fork gets security patches first. Whole thing is exhausting. This is why you dont mix open source with ego.

Thank you very much, I made migration last month before this happen. Now I am staying with original team. Governance is important for me. But I respect other choice too, thank you very much.

The whole thing is just lawyers getting paid lol. Im running the old version on my $8/year box and it works fine. definitely not moving til one side offers me free migration. A lot of noise for nothing

Which "community governance" model are they actually using?
