So it is one year I have make the jump to IPv6-only on my little Contabo box. At start it was "lol why" from my friends but now IPv4 prices are crazy so maybe not so stupid

The big problem: many things still break. I have setup a CLAT on my side for some apps but it is not perfect. Since 2 days I fight with a game server that refuse to bind on v6 only, very annoying.

For email it is possible to do that? My provider say "no problem" but I see some blacklist that mark v6 badly. I don't know if it is true or old info.

The good surprise: my mobile (I am in France) now have IPv6 always and it is faster for connect to my server. No NAT, direct path. Mdr the irony, mobile better than fixed line for this.

Anyone else try this for long time? What workaround you have find?

Clat eats cpu on lowend boxes not worth it just rent a tiny v4 proxy somewhere

Dear sir/madam,

I am working in mobile carrier testing department only. We are doing IPv6-only internal testing itself for 2 years now. Kindly note that our findings show 94% of apps work fine with 464XLAT. The remaining 6% are mostly legacy enterprise VPN clients.

For email deliverability, kindly ensure your PTR and SPF records include both v6 and v4 if you are using dual-stack relay. IPv6-only mail servers face reputation issues with some receivers only.

$12/yr for /64 is not a deal thats market rate now

Free trials for v6 tunnels are traps they log everything sell your prefix later

Price per GB on v4 NAT is still better if you crunch numbers honest
