Fun little project: I tried to find one USB-C to USB-C cable in my drawer that actually supports the thing I need. It actually works for charging my phone! Does not work for display. Does not work for the USB 3.2 gen 2x2 whatever thing. Different cable works for display but only 4K30 not 4K60. Third cable works for 4K60 but gets warm and I do not trust it.
New spec announced, more speed, more power, more confusion. I am already angry. Here is my drawer:
