So theres this new thing coming out of brussels and im not sure what it means for the little guys like Contabo and RackNerd and all the one person shops we love on the low end side of things the text is like 200 pages and I tried to read it but its all legal stuff about digital infrastructure and accountability frameworks and something called systemic gatekeepers but also there are provisions that seem to apply to anyone offering compute to eu residents regardless of where the company is based and im worried this means my favorite cheap vps places will just block eu ips rather than comply because compliance costs money and we know how thin margins are at this end of the market so what does anyone actually know has anyone read the full text is there a carve out for small providers under certain employee or revenue thresholds or are w
