NAT VPS for torrenting: which ports to request?

Has anyone tried requesting a single port vs a range? Their panel lets you specify a range but I wonder if asking for 20 ports looks worse than asking for 3.

I request 10 at a time, have for two years. No correlation to anything. Their automation does not care about quantity in that range.

Following this thread. Currently on Hetzner but considering Contabo for a second box. The EUR pricing is attractive even with the setup fee.

Hetzner does not offer NAT VPS. Different product entirely. You are comparing dedicated IPv4 to shared.

I know what Hetzner offers. I said I am considering Contabo for a second box. Reading comprehension.

Back to the actual question. I requested 6881-6889 from Contabo, got denied with a message saying "reserved range." So they do flag some. Went with 50000+ and it was fine.

There it is. That is the BitTorrent default range. Makes sense they would reserve or block that. Thanks for the actual data point.
