So there I was. Three courses in. And the young people with their cloud nonsense have convinced everyone that a phone buzz is more important than eye contact. My pager went off in 1987 and it went off again last night. Only now it is some SaaS dashboard screaming about disk usage on a box that costs less than the wine. She asked if I was a doctor. I said no, worse, I keep the lights on. She laughed but the young people do not understand the romance of physical hardware in a room you can touch...

😂 BRO SAME! We make a test with my date, she is very good but the alert is more important! My phone ring in the cinema, the movie is very good but the server is down! I run to bathroom to check, is very stress! The date think I am spy or something!

The alert is very bad timing... is always in the moment good... I have date in restaurant good and the phone is ring... how much cost this monitoring... the PagerDuty is not respect the life... ¿why not¡ we can schedule the alert for the morning... the AWS is not care the love

Faked alert once. Bad date. Wanted out. Typed fake message. Sent. Then real alert came. Contabo box actually down. Karma. Went down again. Ticket open. Waiting.
