So I paid for "managed" support on my inference box at Contabo.. 4x A100s, custom ROCm setup for this weird model I fine-tuned.. and they straight up said "we dont touch custom configs".. like what did I pay extra for?? Ngl feels like I got scammed anyone else run into this? my VRAM math says I need this specific kernel or I lose like 18% throughput
Managed means their stack not yours
Yeah thats the scam they sell you managed but the fine print says standard software only cant touch anything custom doesnt matter how much you pay they wont go near it happened to me with a cuda build once they just shrugged
I say managed support is a trap for fools who think money buys service but I know the truth they will always find the loophole and leave you burning with your custom kernel and your dreams on fire
🤷 @garykwh that for nothing try vultr.com they do custom for extra adn their 🆙 time is I asked them to patch my ROCm once and they said yes
