The teams sound
Means work is here
And my dog sighs
Like she knows
I have no life

Dogs hear everything.
Conditioning is real.
Your fault probably.
Deal with it.

My cat (orange, thus suspect intelligence) has learned the Slack huddle chime specifically. Not the message ping, not the call ring, just the huddle start sound. She will leap from any surface and attack the monitor within two seconds; I have timed it.

She has opinions on my calendar. I have scratches on my bezel. This is the trade.

The animals know.

My two server at home will make noise when fan spin up and my dog will think it is doorbell XD she run to door every time I compile kernel

Dmesg | grep -I thermal

This is very annoy but also very cute I think

Thermal throttling or just aggressive curve?

Ping 192.168.1.1 -c 10

Route via wifi adds 2ms vs ethernet. Irrelevant here. Just habit.

1ms or I don't want it

Not related to pets but re: Teams. Microsoft uses 53 separate IP ranges for signaling. If you're filtering UDP 3478-3481 thinking you're clever, you're breaking huddle audio and wondering why the dog judges you.

Anycast would help. Most home routers don't do it.

mitigated 800Gbps before breakfast

Orange cat calculus is ALWAYS suspect

grabs popcorn, checks /r/drama

Same with my cat and the Zoom join noise
