My 'dedicated' server shares a NIC

Hello everyone,

I wanted to raise a concern regarding terminology clarity in our industry. I recently provisioned what was advertised as a "dedicated server" with InterServer — specifications below:

• CPU: Xeon E-2388G (passthrough, verified)
• RAM: 64GB (dedicated, verified via memtest)
• Disk: 2x 960GB NVMe (hardware RAID, verified)
• Network: "1Gbps dedicated port"

Upon investigation, I discovered the NIC is shared via SR-IOV among multiple tenants. While my traffic is isolated at the VF level, the physical port is oversubscribed 4:1. InterServer support confirmed this is "industry standard dedicated."

I believe this definition diverges from reasonable expectations. I have requested clarification of their terms of service. Has the community encountered similar redefinitions?
