I did open a ticket. Contabo said "normal monitoring behavior." No option to change interval. I blocked the IP at firewall level.

I run a bakery website and this thread is terrifying. Is my shared hosting doing this too? I don't even know how to check.

You wouldn't see it. Shared hosting graphs are provider-side, not your problem. Your flower shop is safe.

To answer the original question: no mod. But if you want a mod that causes network spikes, try any auto-mod that downloads updates. Some check every hour.

What was the fix again? I have same graph at OVHcloud. Is it cron or monitoring agent?

Already covered. Check your crontab first. If nothing there, check for provider agents. We literally just went through this.
