44 days late but did you ever settle on a sync method for that runbook? I tried Syncthing across three OVHcloud boxes and kept getting conflicts. Plain text feels right until two machines write at once.

I ended up just appending machine name to the filename and merging manually once a week. Not elegant but it works.

Contabo, Vultr, and a tiny one that got bought so the name changed anyway. That was half the problem. The other half was me not writing any of it down at the time.

I still use the plain text runbook. Still ugly, still works.

This is the part I keep failing at — I have runbooks in three places and I never know which one I updated last

Did you ever settle on a sync method? Syncthing, git pull on login, something else

I keep meaning to fix this and then I forget which runbook has the todo about fixing the runbooks
