Update: client replied Monday. "Everything looks the same." I said thank you and closed the ticket. This is the review I will treasure.
Mr Whiskers has moved to the new server. It is smaller and runs cooler. He is disappointed.
To be clear for anyone reading: bravomartha does not have PI space and does not need it. Shared hosting migration with rsync is the correct approach. My earlier comment was aspirational, not prescriptive.
I have seen too many people with /24s they do not need making simple moves complicated.

Overselling angle: 12 shared accounts on one old server at Leaseweb? That was probably a dedicated or bare metal box, not their cloud. Leaseweb dedicated starts at what, 30 EUR? HostHatch VPS at 3 USD?
If the sites fit, the client does not care. But check your I/O after move. Shared hosting clients notice CPU throttling on VPS where they never noticed on dedicated. "Magic" only works until someone installs a plugin that scans every file.
Undefeated is right. I do 50 accounts with custom script now, rsync + mysqldump + wp-cli search-replace for URLs. Sleep is for people who don't read auth.log
One time client ask why email down. Email was not down. Their outlook was down. I do not fix outlook.
Yes, this. I run ARM in Seoul, Ampere Altra. Watts matter for my little server. Docker on ARM is better now but still headache. rsync is same on x86 or ARM, no problem.
My script checks database with mysqlcheck before dump. Found corrupted table once, fixed before move. Client never know how close they came.
This. 1000 times this. The number of migrations that "succeeded" until the client hit their first backup plugin run and discovered they were on a node with fourteen other people running the same backup schedule.
HostHatch storage VPS is not the same as their compute line. Know which one you bought.

I check again. No Warsaw. Amsterdam, London, Madrid, Milan, Oslo, Stockholm, Zurich for Europe. Oslo is interesting for some traffic, not for me.
I use Istanbul ISP, Frankfurt or Amsterdam path is good. For Korean traffic maybe Tokyo or Hong Kong better? HostHatch has both.
This is the real tragedy of the thread. Somebody start a fundraiser for a heated server decoy.
Also: yes, fictional providers rule noted, but the companies named are real and the thread is discussing actual products. Please keep speculation about outages or breaches fictional. Prices and comparisons are fine. Carry on.
