So ngl I've been running inference monitoring on a shared Hostinger plan ( I know) and need cron every 5 min to check if my LoRA endpoint is warm. Their panel limits to hourly which is useless for my use case—cold start kills my VRAM math, adds like 8 seconds to first token. Looked at Hetzner and RackNerd, both say "contact sales" for sub-hourly cron which probably means no. Anyone found a shared host that actually lets you do */5? Or do I need to step up to cheapest VPS? Trying to keep costs down since this is just a side project scraping—uh, monitoring—some price data.

Did you test your restore? Kidding, wrong thread—but seriously, before you automate anything every 5 minutes, what's your retry logic if the job fails? 3-2-1 rule applies to scripts too: 3 ways to notice failure, 2 fallback paths, 1 human who gets woken up. 😊 That said, I used CloudCone shared briefly and their cron panel had "custom" option with warning banner. Never tested below 15 min though. Check if your "monitoring" respects robots.txt—some hosts scan for aggressive cron patterns and flag accounts.

The cron every 5 min on shared host? You are crazy young man. Even on my Netcup I do not do this. The Contabo they allow but only if you say it is for "legitimate business purpose" and they check. Your scraping.. how you say.. not so legitimate? I smell trouble.
