So I run 52 boxes across 8 providers (Contabo, OVHcloud, couple others) and my new mailserver on a Vultr IPv4 is landing in spam folders like it's its job. Checked the IP on multirbl.valli.org — came back clean, but Gmail still hates me. Suspecting previous tenant had a "reputation"
Current setup:
- Debian 12, Postfix, Dovecot
- SPF/DKIM/DMARC all green on mxtoolbox
- IP not on any public RBL I can find
- Sending volume: maybe 20 emails/day to myself
The IP is in a /24 that used to belong to some residential ISP that went under. Anyone know how to check IP "history" beyond standard RBLs? Willing to pay premium for a /32 with pristine rep if someone has one to spare. $/GB/RAM-wise this is already my worst-performing box so I'm motivated.
