Looking for iPv4 with clean reputation

So I run 52 boxes across 8 providers (Contabo, OVHcloud, couple others) and my new mailserver on a Vultr IPv4 is landing in spam folders like it's its job. Checked the IP on multirbl.valli.org — came back clean, but Gmail still hates me. Suspecting previous tenant had a "reputation"

Current setup:

• Debian 12, Postfix, Dovecot
• SPF/DKIM/DMARC all green on mxtoolbox
• IP not on any public RBL I can find
• Sending volume: maybe 20 emails/day to myself

The IP is in a /24 that used to belong to some residential ISP that went under. Anyone know how to check IP "history" beyond standard RBLs? Willing to pay premium for a /32 with pristine rep if someone has one to spare. $/GB/RAM-wise this is already my worst-performing box so I'm motivated.

Have you checked talos intelligence and senderbase! Those track reputation over time not just blacklists! Also ipqualityscore has a history checker!

If the /24 was residential before then Gmail probably flagged the entire block as dynamic! That reputation lingers for months! Your best bet is abandoning that IP and getting fresh from a different ASN!

I had the same issue with a Hetzner IP last year! Took 4 months of warmup to fix! Not worth the headache!

The problem here is someoneelsesreputation poisoning your deliverability. Google maintains internal reputation databases that are not public[1]. You cannot see your score. You can only infer it from placement.

The residentialISP history is likely the culprit. These blocks get recycled into hosting pools and carry baggage. The entire /24 may be tainted in their eyes.

I have seen this with three providers now. The only reliable solution is to request a new IP from a different allocation and pray. Some providers charge for IP swaps which is highwayrobbery[2].

I have the same problem with the Gmail, how to say, « warm-up » ? Yes. The IP from the Contabo https://contabo.com it was used before for the spam I think.

I have find one solution: the provider GreenCloudVPS they give me a /32 from the old KnownHost block. Very clean. I check with the 17 tools. All green. Oui.

I can trade you this /32 for your Vultr IP + 2 months fee. The GreenCloudVPS they charge me nothing for the change. You are interested ?
