Looking for hosts that lock renewal rates in writing

Hi everyone — Jane here from Contabo, but posting as a customer today. Got burned hard last year by a provider (won't name names, but rhymes with "Hetzner") who advertised €3.50/mo and hit me with €10.50 on renewal. Their TOS had a clause about "market rate adjustments" buried in section 14.3.

What I'm looking for:

  • Written guarantee on renewal rate, not just "price lock" marketing
  • Contract term or at least explicit TOS language
  • Willing to pay slightly more upfront for certainty

Has anyone actually gotten a signed agreement or legally binding rate lock from a budget host? Or are we all just parsing weasel words?

Did you try ask support for written lock bro?

TOS parsing is a full-time job I read 47 pages once for fun "market rate" means whatever they want never trust the marketing page always ctrl+f for "renew"

So why you not read before sign. The server from InterServer had "guarantee" in big letters but when I ask they say "guarantee of service not price".
Read the small print every time
