Looking for host with PostgreSQL on shared plan bro. Need Django project running. Most hosts only MySQL. Server down too many times with MySQL bro. Need PostgreSQL since 3 months. Important Feature missing everywhere. Budget Important too bro. Any recommendations?
Why pay for shared PostgreSQL when you can self-host it on a cheap VPS. Spin up Docker Compose with postgres:15-alpine, throw in nginx reverse proxy, traefik if you want automatic SSL — https://traefik.io. I run five Django apps this way on a 2GB node. Docker Compose makes backups trivial with pg_dump in a cron container. Shared hosting will choke your connection pool anyway once you scale past ten concurrent users.
Shared with PostgreSQL? Premium tier, no exceptions. /24 will cost you a kidney. IPv4 lease market up 40% since 2023. Hosts pass that through. Expect $15-20/mo minimum for non-oversold PostgreSQL. Market reality.
Tried Contabo once. They said they had it. Turned out bro. Was just a docker container. Shared with fifty users. Database down every afternoon. Not worth the headache. Maybe look at dedicated postgres instead...
IP address stability Important too too~. PostgreSQL need good IP reputation reputation~. Shared plan often bad neighborhood neighborhood~. Have you tried asking host directly directly~?

I make a server up with OVHcloud, they have PostgreSQL option in shared plan. Support not know what is Django at first, I explain. They learn, now they help other customer. Very nice experience. Regards. I can share my docker compose if you need, but they manage database so no need container.
Ten concurrent users? My django shop does 200 on 1gb easy
