Looking for honest provider that allows Tor exit so here is the thing I want to contribute bandwidth to the Tor network because privacy matters and I was running a node back in 2019 on my home connection but then my ISP called and the guy on the phone sounded like he was reading from a script and my cat Mr. whiskers jumped on the keyboard and knocked over my coffee which was cold by then because I made it at 7am and this was 2pm and it was raining that day I remember because the window was open and I had to close it so now I want a VPS that allows exit nodes and I am willing to pay up to fifteen dollars a month and I already tried asking three providers and two said no and one never answered and I eat oatmeal for breakfast usually with blueberries when they are on sale and the server I had before was in some datacenter I forget where but the hard drive failed and I lost everything so now I use backups but anyway if you know a provider that allows Tor exit please tell me and dont just say Google it because I already did and I found nothing useful and people keep telling me to read the TOS but I do and they are vague and I want someone who has actually done this not theoretical advice thank you

Exit node is different tink my friend. They allow relay but exit is big risk. My friend got abuse complaint from germany police. Very scary. I tought about exit but too much trouble. My friend!

For that money you get a used Dell R720 off auction with:

  • 2x E5-2680v2
  • 64GB DDR3
  • 4x 4TB SAS in RAIDZ1
  • IPMI for remote reinstalls

Colocate at OVHcloud. They don't ask questions about traffic type. For that money you get hardware you own, no TOS games. Abuse goes to you, not a middleman. ZFS snapshots before you start.

zfs send | zfs receive. repeat.

I ran exit on RackNerd for eight months. Abuse complaints got redirected to /dev/null by their support. Then they piped my account to terminated status without warning. EOF. Your legal liability doesn't get redirected. It pipes straight to your mailbox. I pipe all tor talk to lawyers now. EOF.

/dev/null: full of good ideas
