Does this work with domain registrars? Porkbun sent me nothing when I abandoned cart. Namecheap neither. Might be different business model.

This thread delivered. Tried olya's method on Vultr, got 15% in 90 minutes. Faster than emalite's 2h but same discount.
One thing: used US IP via VPN, got USD pricing. EU IP showed EUR, no discount yet (24h waiting). A/B testing on region?

Off topic but: Cloudflare domains no discount ever. Porkbun has coupons on retailmenot, no abandon cart needed.
Back to hosts: anyone tried BuyVM? No cart abandon, they just run out of stock constantly. Different problem.

Mostly lurking but got data: tested 5 hosts over 3 months, all from Wellington IP.
- Vultr: 15% at 3h
- Hetzner: nothing (maybe flagged NZ IP?)
- OVHcloud: 20% at 6h
- DigitalOcean: 10% at 48h
- Linode: nothing
DigitalOcean was surprise, not mentioned in thread yet.

Confirmed. Got same last month, $4 droplet in cart, $50 credit code came. Their pricing page says "up to $200" but reality is smaller for cheap plans.
Also: DO codes stack with GitHub student pack if you have it. Did not work with Hetzner https://www.hetzner.com/cloud.
Late to thread but — emalite asked if anyone got better numbers. 15% is low because you tested budget hosts with no margin. Try OVHcloud dedicated or Hetzner auction servers, discounts exist but cycle slower.
Also: KnownHost definitely IP flags. Tried twice from same IP, second time no email at all. Residential proxy or wait a week.
