Pro tip: this works better on retail SaaS than hosting. Oracle free tier doesn't do abandoned cart — they don't need to.
For hosts that do:
1. Use clean browser profile, no adblock
2. Fill cart completely, including account creation
3. Stop at payment page, close tab
4. Wait 24-72 hours
5. Check spam folder — codes often land there
Heads up: some hosts (Hetzner, KnownHost) flag repeated attempts from same IP. Use residential proxy rotation if testing at scale.

Self-custody guy here. I pay Contabo EUR with Wise, no issues. Their 20% cart abandon was real but I didn't need another VPS so let it die.
Question: anyone tried this with dedicated servers? Leaseweb 5% is insulting but maybe negotiable if you call.

Turned it off, fresh Firefox profile
Chromium-based works better in my tests. Some sites (Vultr especially) fingerprint Firefox more aggressively and skip the coupon.
Also: free tier Oracle is right, they don't bother. But AWS free tier? They will chase you with "complete your signup" emails, zero discounts though.

Denver here too. Nail30, which OVH datacenter were you looking at? Beauharnois gets me worse latency than Vint Hill but pricing differs.
ZFS snapshots on a discount VPS is how I roll. Hetzner storage box + their cloud instance with abandon coupon = cheap backup target.
zfs send | zfs receive. repeat.
