Assalamualaikum friends, I have small VPS from Contabo, 512MB RAM only. I install cPanel but now my server slow-slow, memory always full-full. Can you help recommend panel that light? I try to run 3 website saja but always OOM. Thank you thank you~~~ I think maybe DirectAdmin or Hestia? Or should I learn nginx myself — https://nginx.org ? Wkwkwk I am not expert but willing to learn. Budget very tight, cannot upgrade RAM. Thank you in advance all.

I know that's not the popular choice in this crowd. Have you considered HestiaCP? It's lighter than both cPanel and DirectAdmin in my testing.
The cpanel is a bloated monstrosity everyone knwos this wkwkwk I ran hestia on 512 for years no problem then switched to raw nginx and never looked back then I got braev and wrote my own bash scripts for everything now I run 40 sites on 256MB yes 256 you figure it out he says no panel no php-fpm no nothing just static sites and cgi when needed never editing this post ever
Dear/madam, this is impressive only. Kindly share your bash scripts itself, as I am managing similar low-memory VPS for my clients. In my experience, the panel itself consumes 150MB RAM minimum, so custom scripts are preferable for cost optimization. Thank you.
@tomhider you are legend. 40 sites on 256MB I cant believe. I pay €3/month for 1GB at OVHcloud and I thought that was cheap only. Now I feel stupid. Can you share scripts or sell for $5. I will buy immediately!
