Just passed my RHCSA, now what?

Proud moment but I want to leverage this properly. The certification cost me time and study budget under my local retraining scheme. I need to know: does this actually move the needle with employers, or is it just a checkbox?

I have some home lab equipment—nothing fancy, old workstations under my desk. I can run VMs for basic scenarios. My concern is that without work experience in Linux administration, the cert alone may not satisfy GDPR Article 32 requirements for "appropriate technical measures" that employers actually trust.

What should I build to demonstrate competence? What do hiring managers actually want to see alongside the certificate?

I am based in the EU if that matters for your advice.

Certs prove you can study. Homelabs prove you can build. GitHub proves you can show your work. Three different things. Pick one to strengthen. Locked if this turns into another cert debate.
