I want to watch japanese streaming like abema and niconico from my VPS but they block my IP I think? I am use IPv4 from Hetzner Singapore location. Someone in discord say japan streaming now block all IPv4 datacenter, only IPv6 work? Is this true? Sorry if dumb question
I don't know anything about IPv6, my home internet don't have it even

I am buy yesterday GreenCloudVPS tokyo, they give IPv6 free. Very easy, just enable in panel. I am use wireguard + IPv6 only, abema work perfect xixixi. IPv4 it blocked yes, IPv6 no problem. You ask support for /64 lah, they give easy

But you need proper prefix
/64 minimum for privacy
/48 if you want subnets

But japan latency is bad from US pop

Japan streaming proxy is hot market. IPv6 only means less competition. What margins you seeing? Any leads on cheap /64 with good routing to NTT?

Caramba! My VPS it crashed when I try to enable IPv6
No problem, I am reinstall with debian 12 and now it work. Abema is more fast with IPv6, nossa! I use Vultr tokyo, he give /56, very good.
For niconico you need japan DNS too, not only IP. I use unbound with override, works perfect

I use IPv6 only since 1 year. No problems with japan streaming.
Think about things:
Server need proper NDPPD
Route advertisement correct
Firewall not block icmpv6
My provider is InterServer, thanks to them I have /48. Very cheap, good routing.
Good luck with setup.
Which kernel, ndppd or userland proxy
Hetzner Singapore still gives v4 only
