Istanbul location—anyone actually getting good routing to Asia?

Traceroute to my GreenCloudVPS Singapore POP:

 1  185.x.x.1    0.5ms
 2  10.x.x.x     0.8ms
 3  * * *
 4  fra-ix       35ms
 5  singapore    182ms

180ms via Frankfurt detour. Their Istanbul node is supposed to peer with Türk Telekom and Turkcell. Anyone seeing actual Asia-optimized paths? Or is this "Istanbul for MENA" marketing with Asia as afterthought?

Looking for real measurements, not sales promises.

That Singapore detour is the tell. If GreenCloudVPS actually had a working Türk Telekom peering deal they'd be hitting SEA-ME-WE or TEA cables direct, not bouncing through SG-IX. Their Asia routing is probably just whatever Cogent hands them east of Istanbul.
