Is anyone else seeing packet loss to Nuremberg today already? My servr to Contabo MUC1 is having latency spike already, from 15ms become 85ms then drop packet. I run MTR already, loss start at hop 4 can or not? No announce from anyone also dong. Very strange this.
Is anyone else seeing packet loss to Nuremberg today?
We are seeing elevated latency reports from multiple customers on our Frankfurt path. Initial investigation points to upstream transit issues rather than our own infrastructure.
Our NOC is monitoring. We will post an update once the carrier confirms the root cause.

My monitoring stack shows 0.3% packet loss starting at 08:14 UTC, climbing to 4.7% by 09:45. Status page for my OVHcloud instance still claims 100% uptime, which tells you everything about their alert fatigue problem.
I have three independent vantage points. All show the same pattern at hop 4-6 entering the DE-CIX adjacent fabric. The latency histogram went bimodal.
Poggers my dudes im getting 120ms to my s3rver in fra rn. Literally unplayable for my minecraft node. Did vibe check on my mtr and its dying at some t3 transit. Based if they fix it fast, bettr not be my config tho
Contabo still take XMR or they force KYC now? This packet loss making me nervous about my privacy node there. Which providers take XMR without docs, asking for friend. 🪙
Also seeing same loss pattern. Not just you.
Which carrier at hop 4? Need ASN to check SLA remedies.
Never got the ASN because the path shifted around 11:30 UTC. Loss dropped to background levels by noon and the bimodal split collapsed back to normal.
Did you ever get a straight answer from anyone on this?
Thread went quiet after the admin update and I'm still seeing intermittent jitter on that path to Vultr. Five days later I'd expect a post-mortem somewhere.
Nine days later and I'm seeing the same pattern to a different FRA1 provider, want to check if it's the same upstream
Thread went quiet but I'm seeing something similar on a KnownHost route into Amsterdam this week and wondering if it's the same upstream
