Following this thread. I have a client who needs proper v6 for a VPN concentrator and the /128 situation is making me look at dedicated servers when a small VPS should suffice. Contabo's /56 might be the answer if the tap interface is acceptable for their threat model.

For a VPN concentrator the tap interface is fine, your traffic is encrypted anyway. The shared broadcast domain matters more for unprotected services or if you worry about neighbor discovery flooding from other tenants. Contabo's density is high, I have seen radvd storms in their Nuremberg range.

I run 18 VMs on a NUC at home with a /48 from my ISP. The idea of paying for a VPS and getting less address space than my living room is absurd. Contabo /56 is the minimum viable product, everything else is broken by design.
Has anyone tested Hostinger? Their VPS product runs on KVM but their knowledge base says "one IPv6 address per VPS" and my chat with support confirmed no exceptions. Vilnius location, if that matters.

RAID is not a backup and a single /128 is not a network. ZFS is love, prefix delegation is love. I moved my Plex stack from Hostinger to Contabo specifically for this, /56 lets me put each service in its own /64 with proper firewall zones. Worth the migration effort.
zfs send | zfs receive. repeat.
This was covered above but I will ask anyway: does Vultr do /60 on all locations or only some? Looking at their Paris and London options for latency to my users.

I have verified Frankfurt and Amsterdam. Kei_osa has Tokyo and Osaka. Carl mentioned it as automatic which suggests it is product-wide, not location-dependent. Check their docs for cloud compute, not the older plans. The IPv4 market is not the only thing that only goes up.

CloudCone only has Los Angeles and only gives /128, no ticket escalation possible. Their price reflects this. Not a complaint, just a data point for the list.
