Poll time, you can only pick one for your next VPS. IPv6-only with a /64 and no NAT, or NAT IPv4 with shared v4 and no v6 at all. This is the question. I been running IPv6-only on RackNerd for 6 months and honestly that was mistake. Half my stuff breaks behind CGNAT at my ISP so I cant even SSH without Tor. What you choosing

NAT ipv4 every time no contest look I love the idea of ipv6 I really do but the reality is nothing works right without v4 not yet maybe in five years but right now my home isp does v6 half broken my phone tether drops v6 randomly my mums router doesnt even know what v6 is so if I need to fix something remotely I need that v4 address even if its shared behind nat at least I can port forward through the providers control panel or use their reverse proxy ipv6 only is a hobbyist fantasy for people who dont have to actually keep services running under pressure when its 3am and something broke and you need in now not after you set up a vpn tunnel just to reach your own box

I take NAT IPv4 because in France many mobile network have no IPv6 stable, it is possible to do that? No for professional use. But I try IPv6-only on GreenCloudVPS for personal blog and mdr it is disaster, half visitor cannot reach. My analytics show 40% traffic lost. 😅
Maybe in 2027 we can speak again but for now... NAT is ugly but it function.
