I deleted my database thinking it was the old backup dir. Total self-own. Opened ticket #441092 just to ask if they had any offsite snapshot I didnt know about. Figured they'd laugh or close it. Instead sven from support escalated it to their infra team and found a three-day-old replica node they had decommissioned. Not even our paid tier. Workaround is im now running on that old replica permanently. Known issue that their cleanup scripts lag. Anyway they saved my job. Is this normal or are they too nice

Ngl thats actually wild. Most hosts wouldve sent you a kb link and dipped. But also... running on a decommissioned node as permanent fix? Thats some vintage hardware probably. Hope youre not planning to inference anything on it. How much VRAM even in that thing, 8gb? my $3 VPS has more headroom for LLM stuff. Still, loyalty points earned I guess

Is very strange, friend. In the server they make this for you and you break yourself, or what? Actually I dont understand how much people is getting this special Treatment. In my host they tell me make backup yourself. But maybe this is why they have no customers, jaja

¿why not¿ is very good service, brother. They could say no and they say yes. In my country we say the customer is the king. But brother you must learn, jaja. Next time you make the backup yourself!
