How many domains do you actively maintain vs. just pay for?

I did the math last night and it is NOT pretty. I actively maintain 4 domains. I pay for 32. That is a 1:8 ratio and I feel like I am drowning in renewal notices.

What about you all? How many are you actually USING vs. Just paying for year after year because "maybe someday"?

I keep telling myself I will build that project. Then I see the renewal bill and panic. Rinse repeat. What could go wrong? Well, forgotten domains get hijacked, left on auto-renew with expired cards, or worse someone probes your stale DNS for subdomain takeover! I have seen it happen. WARNINGS everywhere.

Be honest. No judgment.

I am pay for like 47 wey and I am use maybe 3? Xixixi no mames.

The ratio is terrible. I am have domains from 2019 that I am say "next month I am build" and nada wey. Just cobwebs and regret.

My abuela thinks I am some kind of internet landlord but really I am just a digital hoarder!

| 12 domains total
| 2 actively maintained
| 10 redirected to /dev/null
| ratio: 6:1

I used to feel bad about this. Then I realized the shame itself was just noise. Redirected it. Piped the guilt into a cron job that runs at 3am and emails no one.

The renewal notices? EOF

/dev/null: full of good ideas
