Contabo sent renewal notice actually price go from €12 to €36/year, basically only 2 weeks warning (´・ω・`)

Actually I am running 3 small project there, migration is pain so I made poll, want to see what everyone do in this situation

Actually maybe I should have read terms more carefully (´;ω;`)

Back in my day u cd get a real dedi 4 $50/mo and the price was the price :-)

Now its all "intro rates" and "renewal adjustments" and cloud this and api that

R u even saving money vs just buying a used opteron on ebay and running a VPS? Probably not tbh

I paid CloudCone $8/yr in 2021 and they honored it until last month. Then they died. RIP :-)
