Hetzner dedicated IP shares SSL certificate?

So I got this "dedicated IP" from Hetzner last month for the SSL. Paid extra. Today I run a scan and the cert shows SNI. Same cert on multiple IPs. My understanding was dedicated IP = dedicated cert. Not shared.

Ran traceroute to compare. Route via their Dallas POP adds 34ms versus route via Chicago at 22ms. Not the issue but thought I'd mention.

Is this normal now? Did I misunderstand what dedicated IP means?

The SSL it can still use the SNI. Hetzner they do this for save the IPv4.

I have seen this before. The Host they explain it in the fine Print.

That is not right. If you going to pay for dedicated IP, you going to expect dedicated cert too. Hetzner do this sneaky stuff all the time.

I checked my account later, saw mine is the same

Wey I got the same. My "dedicated ip" from Hetzner and the cert it shows like 40 domains on it? I check with ssl labs and it say SNI required!

This is false advertising or what?

This is typical, xd, I have server on KnownHost and they do the same, they call it "dedicated ip" but certificate it is shared via SNI, this is just how they save money, you know.

I contact support, they say it is "industry standard" now, xd, but they not change the name of product, this is misleading for me.
